In turn, another expert of the NRA's Melita Aristakesyan reported that the fruit and vegetables produced in Armenia, harmless as opposed to imported products into the country. "Imported fruit and vegetables are transgenic products and may later affect the health of our children. Armenia does not have laboratories to test them, and our Association introduced the requirement that the Customs Office on these products in big letters was written about their transgennom origin, she said.
